Dr. Lee Benton is still performing as an Actress, but has also been called to evangelize to the world for His Kingdom. She calls herself an “Evangelist”, but actually became an “Ordained Pastor” in 2014 and received her “Doctorate of Theology” in 2017. She says, “I use to call myself an ‘Under Cover Agent for God in Hollywood’, but now the whole world knows my call- ing for HIS MAJESTY…and I’m so honored to be used by Him”.

Born & raised in Tampa, Florida by what Lee calls, “Two of the greatest, Christian parents in the world!” She was raised a “preacher’s kid” by her Evangelist father Lester Benton, & her mother Earlene Benton, a Sunday School teacher. Lee received Jesus as her Savior at the age of six & started singing gospel songs on stage at age 12, performing in churches & various locations with her sister, Carolyn, & known as “The Benton Sisters”.

After 10 years of a successful modeling career, Lee landed her first two acting jobs in Tampa, Florida…& that’s where a producer/director discovered her & connected her with an agent in Hollywood, CA. That agent brought her to Los Angeles, CA in 1982, where God gave her favor & she started working on TV & Films right away. In 1983, Lee landed a Series Regular role on the hit TV Series, “Mickey Spillane’s Mike Hammer” as, “Jenny”. Her career blossomed & went straight up from there. In the year 1990, while filming on a movie set, Lee started a prayer group which led to her, “Ladies Share & Prayer – Bible Study in LA”, which continued for 22 yrs. And in 2012, this ladies group eventually turned into her, ”Praise & Worship” meeting at CBS STUDIOS teach- ing the Gospel to both men & women for six yrs. Lee says, “God is really moving at these monthly meetings in Hollywood…men, women & young people in are coming to know Jesus as Savior, Praise be to God!”  (She now holds her meetings at another loca- tion in Hollywood. Lee still leads the “OC Ladies Share & Prayer Group” which started in her home in 2006, & speaks in churches and events across the nation…& in various countries across the world.

Nov. & Dec 2013, Lee preached in Tokyo & Yokohama, Japan, where many souls accepted Christ as Savior.

In July 2014, Lee became ORDAINED as a Pastor.

In 2014, Lee was awarded a “Merit of Honor”, from the President of the United States, for all the volunteer work she has done to help others, and was given another “Merit of Honor” from the St. Lazarus Of Jerusalem Organization for her ministry work in God’s Kingdom.

In 2015, Lee was awarded, “Goodwill Ambassador” by the Golden Rule Organization through the United Nations. She says, “The recognition & awards are nice, but, to God be all the Glory”.

In 2019, “VICTORY ROAD with Lee Benton” was nominated for “BEST TV SHOW” and Lee was awarded “BEST TV HOST”.

In 2019, Lee was honored to receive a “LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD”
In 2020, Lee was asked to also join forces with a Hawaiian Ministry called, “Boots Camp Ministries”, teaching online for the Women’s Ministry based out of Kauai.

Lee is currently Producing & Hosting a very successful TV Show called, “VICTORY ROAD with Lee Benton”. Lee interviews celebrities & others as they share their Victory stories & offers the “RSVP PRAYER to Heaven”, which God gave her as a witnessing tool to help bring more souls to Jesus. (this TV show has been on the air since 2014).
